Jerry Earl Grigsby's Obituary
Jerry Earl Grigsby was born October 10 4, 1940 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and passed away April 1, 2015 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Jerry was an easy going kind of guy. He was always happy and whistling a tune. He was the only morning person in the family. Jerry was a generous person and would do just about anything for anyone in need. Jerry was a great cook; his family especially loved when he would make his chicken and dumplings, biscuits and cinnamon rolls. Jerry loved watching his favorite teams; the Oklahoma Thunder and the Saints. His family would often refer to him as the human TV guide! Jerry loved spending time with his family; and his grandchildren will miss his corny jokes he always told. Every time Jerry attended church he had a pocketful of candy and would always share it with the kids. Jerry loved his precious dogs Izzy and Sadie; and he would always make toast just for them. Jerry will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Jerry is survived by his spouse Norlene, Grigsby; son Jeff Grigsby and his wife Terrie; daughter Kim Grigsby; grandchildren Samantha Grigsby, Noah Grigsby and Jacob Grigsby; sister Betty Ann Turner and her husband Larry; nephew Shaun Childers and his wife Tara; nephew Kevin Childers ; great-nephew and niece Jackson and Addison. Jerry is preceded in passing by his parents Earl C. And Sallie Ann Grigsby. There will be a funeral service at 12:30p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
