Jerry Edward Hulse's Obituary
Jerry Edward Hulse, 72, of Coweta, Oklahoma passed away on June 9, 2014. The memorial service will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Friday the 13th at 3:00p.m. Jerry was born in Russell, Kansas on August 24th, 1942. He graduated from Russell High School in 1960. He then joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 as a Kiddy Cruiser. He had an accomplished career of 20 years. During that time he had 3 cruise tours of duty. 2 on land tours of duty in Vietnam. He also attended several military schools where he graduated top of his class. He obtained his Pilot license as well as a flight instructor. He retired as a Navy recruiter in 1980 with a rank of E-7 Chief. After retiring from the Navy he went to work and also retired from Rockwell International. Jerry enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, following the Dallas Cowboys, working with Cattle, riding horses, and a Hobby of driving semi-trucks. Jerry is survived by his wife Myrna of 50 years, his two children Trevis Hulse and His wife Julia Of Inola, Oklahoma; Tiffany Drumm and her husband Buckeye of Coweta, Oklahoma; His 3 Grandchildren Ryan Hulse and Savannah and Shayleigh Drumm. His Sister Joyce Harkness and her husband Wayne of Wichita, Kansas and His Brother Joe Hulse of Vallejo, California as well as several nieces and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Helen Hulse, as well as His Sister Kathy Jacobs and Brother Don Hulse. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Disabled American Veterans. 216 S.
