Jerry Dean Roberts' Obituary
Jerry Dean Roberts age 73 went to be with Jesus Wednesday August 20, 2025. He passed away at Green Country Care Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born April 21, 1952, in Water Valley, Mississippi to Francis Melvin Roberts and Hattie Lorene Norwood Roberts.
On October 12, 1979, Jerry married Ilsa Haworth in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He graduated from Water Valley High School where he played football for the Blue Devils. He graduated from Northwest Mississippi Junior College where he earned an Associate in Education. He played football for the Rangers.
He moved to Tulsa on Memorial Day 1976. He started his career as Service Technician at Finnell Compressor, Ingersoll Rand, Duncan Equipment and Air Systems Pump Solutions. Jerry retired November 2014 after 37 years as Service Technician.
Jerry loved spending time bass fishing with friends and family in his Skeeter bass boat. He loved taking his family camping. He was a collector of all sorts of memorabilia- belt buckles, flashlights, compressor items, knives, Route 66 but most of all anything to do with fishing-lures, reels, rods to name a few!
Preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Lorene Roberts and sister Mary Katherine Roberts.
Survived by his wife of 45 years Ilsa Roberts of the home. His sons Jerad and (Clarissa) Roberts of Tulsa and Jamison Roberts of Tulsa. His one and only Granddaughter Kinlee Grace Roberts of Tulsa. His brother Gary and (Julie) Roberts of Houston, Texas. His niece Rachel Roberts of Seattle, Washington. And several family members and lots of friends.
