Jerry Lee Wells' Obituary
After a long fight, Jerry Lee Wells finally lost his battle with cancer on March 11, 2014. Jerry was born to Jack and Ruth Wells on a farm outside of Cushing, OK, on August 1, 1939. He joined the Marines soon after graduating high school and later was commissioned into the Army. After his military career, he returned to Cushing where he worked while attending OSU. He went to work for Shell and moved his family to Texas. In 1970, he came to Tulsa to work for Cities Service Oil Co., where he worked designing and installing telephone, radio alarm and microwave systems all over the world; he retired in 1999. Jerry was a lifelong hunter, fisherman and gardener. He is predeceased by his father and mother, brother Larry, and grandson Stuart Spencer. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; son Chad Wells and wife Monya, daughter Misti Spencer and husband Hurst,son Patrick Wells; grandchildren Christopher Moser and wife Leah, Jordan Rowlan, Kaitlan Rowlan, Jackson Spencer, McKenna Wells, and Adyn Spencer; and great-grandchildren Case and Carter Moser.
