My thoughts and prayers go out to the Dudley family. As a student at Nickerson High School in the early 70's we had the pleasure of having Mr. Dudley as the school's Vice Principle. My fondest memory was when I had to pay a visit to his office my senior year. All he had to say was " Well Mr. Fenton, what do you think your dad would think about the stunt you did." He then asked me if I wanted him to tell dad or if I should tell him myself. That's all it took. He did more for the kids at NHS then most people ever knew. It is a blessing to have known him. Mr. Dudley and his family were our neighbors for several years in Nickerson, Ks. They were so supportive and friendly as friends and neighbors. He was our high school principal also at this time. Great guy, and family.
A teacher I respected. The memories of school at cave springs are fondly remembered. My condolences to Mrs. Dudley and the family. Jean w croley
I just added a few special memories of with our Dad, aka Papa, Buddy, Mr. Dudley, …,,,…
So sorry to read of the passing of Mr Dudley. He was the principal of Bentonville High School when I taught there in the mid-seventies. I knew him to be a courteous and professional administrator/boss, someone who relied more on the power of reason and kindness than on the power of fear and admonishment. I know you will miss him. My condolences to you all. Trudy Karnes
Dayne, sorry for your loss. But it's comforting to realize he had a full and blessed life.
Thank you for your service to our country. Also, thank you for being a great school teacher and school principal. I am glad to have known you and your family.-Dennis McLemore, Cave Springs High School class of 1967.
