Jesse Earl Clark's Obituary
Jesse Earl Clark, 96, went to his Heavenly home on January 12, 2021, at a nursing home in the Nashville area. Former resident of Glenpool, he was born July 19, 1924, to John Denton and Eva Viola (Fullerton) Clark on their farm near Grandview, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of their nine children and is survived by his 102 year-old sister, Mary Elizabeth Russell, Livermore, California.
He was a WWII Veteran who led a full life – farming in his early years, later becoming a builder/contractor who built or remodeled many homes and several churches through the years. He remained active in church and studied his Bible as long as he was physically able. His hobbies were gardening and playing cards, dominos or board games with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell (Judy) Clark who lives near her family in Bradenton, Florida; daughters Phyllis Masonheimer and her husband Roy, Mount Juliet, Tennessee; and Connie Ellis and her husband Larry, Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Other survivors are granddaughters Charlene Boyd, Klamath Falls, Oregon; Carolyn Spurling, Lewiston, Idaho; Jennifer Masonheimer, Mount Juliet, Tennessee; and Karen Koenig, Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to the granddaughters’ spouses, Jesse’s legacy includes eleven great-grand-children and two great-great-grand-children.
He was buried beside his beloved first wife of almost 55 years, Alma (Venturella) Clark at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Veteran's Field of Honor. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home's Chapel.
