Jesse William Rouse's Obituary
Jesse William Rouse, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away at the age of 52 on April 9, 2026. He was born in Independence, Iowa on July 30, 1973, to Glen William Rouse and Ladonna Ruth Lane.
Jesse was a generous man who was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a stubborn streak and a personality that was unmistakably his own. He was known for his fast driving and his ongoing frustration with anyone who didn’t quite keep up on the road—firmly believing that most everyone else could use a few driving lessons. It was a trait that family and friends came to know well, and one that now brings a smile along with the memories.
Jesse also had a remarkable ability to form and maintain a true brotherhood of friends. His circle was large, vibrant, and fiercely loyal. Even when they gave each other a hard time, they were family—a brotherhood that never faltered. In his most difficult moments, they stood by him, filling the gaps and reminding him he was never alone.
Jesse faced and overcame incredible challenges in his life. After being diagnosed with a brain tumor, he endured three separate brain surgeries and the long road of recovery that followed—having to relearn how to walk, move his arm, and regain everyday function. Through it all, he showed remarkable strength and perseverance. To those who knew his journey, Jesse was nothing short of a walking miracle.
He poured his heart into his family, treating his nieces and nephews as if they were his own, always spoiling them and making sure they felt special and cared for.
For over 20 years, Jesse ran his own business, where he built not only a successful livelihood but also lasting relationships. He had a loyal group of clients and customers who truly adored him and looked forward to seeing him each season. Jesse loved his work and being outdoors, and it brings comfort to know he was doing what he loved when we tragically lost him.
He is survived by his mother, Ladonna Ruth Lane and her husband, Jim Lane; and his siblings, Carey Lee Rouse, Dawn Ruth Rouse, and Kim Rae Sanders and her husband, Jarrod Sanders, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen William Rouse.
Jesse will be remembered for his big heart, his strength, his resilience, and the special way he made people feel valued. He will be deeply missed by his family, his many friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Service was held with close family and friends.
