Jesse Stout's Obituary
Jesse Stout, a loving husband, dad, papa, and friend, passed away on April 19, 2024. He was born in Okmulgee, Ok on November 22, 1930 to Fred Stout and Beulah Vaughn Stout. Jesse married the love of his life Bobbie Haddox on August 13, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and they shared in over 71 wonderful years together, making lifelong memories. Jesse will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his passion for painting and drawing, his love for fishing and going junking with Bobbie, his skill at playing Dominoes, and his mechanical prowess. He was a hard-working individual with a kind heart. Jesse proudly served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1954 during the Korean War. He was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS ESSEX CV-9. He will forever be known as a patriotic veteran. Jesse Stout leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jesse is survived by his daughter Robin Iles and husband Jim, daughter Sherry Ogburn and husband James, grandchildren Elyse Porterfield and husband Jacob, Tyler Grant and wife Elaina, great-grandchildren Katelyn Haynes, Jesse Grant, Jacoby Deere, Callie Venters, Anthony Cutsinger, Jordan Cutsinger, Isaac Cutsinger,and great-great grandson Chozen Venters, along with many other friends and loved ones.
Jesse was preceded in death by his beautiful loving wife Bobbie, brother Robert Lee Stout, granddaughter Sayward Martinez, great-granddaughter Maliyah Martinez.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
