Jewel Darlene "Johnny" Troxell Seawright's Obituary
Jewel Darlene (Johnny) Troxell Seawright, age 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 5, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Darlene was born on February 11, 1924 to Letha Anna and William Henry Davis in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She moved to Tulsa from Seminole, Oklahoma in 1931, and lived the remainder of her life in the Sand Springs and Tulsa area. She was preceded in death by her husbands George Troxell and Olen Seawright; her son Tony Troxell; brothers John, Ray & Brady Davis; Jess, Chancy & Elvin Cline; sisters Minnie Robinson, Mamie Osborn, Martha Corbon, & Velma Gabbard. She retired from St. John Medical Center in 1987 after 27 years of service, and spent her retirement years doing the things she loved most: fishing, camping, crocheting, and watching her Oklahoma Sooner football team. Family will be greeting visitors on Thursday between 6:30-8:30PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 9, 2009 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clarehouse in Tulsa.Survived By: Darlene is survived by Larry & Gail Troxell, Randy & Gloria Troxell; Jan Troxell Chafey; Glenda Kiper; Dennis, Dale & Donald Seawright; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
