Judy Dotson's Obituary
Jewell Dean "Judy" Dotson, 87 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in a Tulsa hospital with family by her side. She was born May 11, 1933 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to her parents, George Doyle Norman and Gladys Genevieve Gilmore Norman. She married the love of her life, Billy Gene Dotson in 1953 and they shared in over 60 wonderful years together before his passing in 2013.
Judy loved spoiling her family by cooking for them. Grandkids were a very big part of her joy in life. She enjoyed taking drives in the country and seeing the change of seasons. Her favorite was to see red birds! Christmas BBQ dinners, Tippins pies, and homemade baked beans were her specialty!
Judy is survived by two sons, Larry Dotson and his wife Sherri of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Gary Dotson and his wife Vonda of Ardmore, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Hannah Dotson and her fiancée Robert of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jamie Johnson and her husband Hunter of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, David Dotson and his wife Fatima of Spain and Josie Dotson of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gladys Norman; her husband, Billy Gene Dotson and her brother, Bud Bedford Norman.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Floral Haven's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
