Jill Ann Thomas' Obituary
In Loving Memory of Jill Ann Thomas
Jill Ann (Mrs. Ricky) Thomas left us to be with her late husband on Oct. 20, 2023. Jill was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 19, 1960. Determined to have a college degree, she worked to pay most of her own way. After graduating, she had a successful career that included time in banking, savings and loan administration, aviation, and high-tech industries as a project manager.
Always an active church member, Jill found a church home in Plano, Texas and committed to God and their fellow man. Jill loved her family unconditionally and always saw the best in each of us. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth. She will be forever missed.
Jill is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky. She is survived by her parents, Sandra Yeo and Vernon Lee, her siblings, Jeff and Becky Nelson, Leslie and Ken Johnson, her son Capt. T.J. Turner and his wife Larissa, her grandchildren, Aria, Logan and Merrick, nieces and nephews, Hannah Lareau and Dayton, Ben Nelson, as well as many other extended family members.
A graveside service for Jill will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Apostles, with Pastor James Lacey officiating. The family would like to warmly extend an invitation to anyone wishing to attend.
