Jimmey LeRay Kenney's Obituary
Jimmey Kenney, age 79, a resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed from this life Thursday, December 05, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born May 16, 1945 to Lonie LeRay and Norma Jane (Wolfe) Kenney in Santa Rosa, California.
He moved to Oklahoma at a young age to be closer to family. He graduated from McLain High School and Northeastern State University. He was a retired elementary school teacher from Tulsa Public Schools and real estate broker. Jimmey was also a member of the Elk’s Club.
Jim will be missed tremendously by his family and friends. He was the proud father of twin girls, Leslie and Laura. He was truly proud of his family. Jim was fiercely loyal and a great friend to all. He was a fantastic story teller. If you got lucky you got to hear his stories more than once. His stories were almost always thorough and funny. He was very analytical but had a way to advise gracefully.
