Jimmie Alan Chittenden's Obituary
Jimmie Alan Chittenden, 82, was born on May 31, 1937 and passed on February 16, 2020 while surrounded by family.
Jim was born in Sikeston, Missouri to Rudolph and Helen Chittenden. After graduating from high school, he married the love of his life, Marian Sitton. They were married for 64 years.
Jim graduated from University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy at Rolla, and received his Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
After working in the meat packing industry for 20 years, he started his consulting company, TSI, INC. where he held several patents for water treatment equipment.
Throughout his life, Jim was an avid reader. He loved all things golf, traveling, and hosting friends and family in his home. He was a tinkerer who believed every problem had a solution and he endeavored to make all things better.
Jim is survived by his wife, Marian, his daughter Pam and husband Dan Mojica, son Bruce and wife Melissa, grandchildren Kyla and husband Tyler Topham, Clay and wife Elizabeth, great grandchildren Pierson, Berkley, Henry and Elly, brothers Rudy of Charlotte, North Carolina, John of Sikeston, Missouri, and Raney, his beloved pet.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at 10 am on Friday, February 21 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
