I just recently learned Jimmy had passed and learning of his passing has brought back many childhood memories of my time growing up with him. We lived in the same "hood" LOL and went to the same elementary school together for many years. (My little brother was in classes with Jerry.) I lived up the hill and his family lived down the hill. We had so much fun hangin out in that small little neighborhood. Sometimes it felt like it's own little town. We had the woods to play in, tree houses, the north Canadian River in our back yard and the little park with the swimming pool at the edge of the woods and to be able to ride your bicycles around like we did... it was the best. It was such a fun time to be a kid and we all looked out for each other as if we were family. I suppose in a way we were. I always had such respect for him. He is one of the good guys (with the invisible white hat.) My deepest sympathies to his family
