Jimmy Dale Reich's Obituary
Jimmy Dale Reich was born December 15, 1946, and raised in Wewoka, Oklahoma. As Dad always said, "What a glorious day it will be; the day I'm called to be with the Lord." And for him, October 20, 2022, was indeed a glorious day.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Monnie Reich, and his brother, Ronald Lee Reich. He is survived by his loving wife of 52+ years, Billye Reich, his brother, George Reich & wife Carol, sister-in-law, Ruth Reich, children Randy Reich and wife Athena, Brett Reich & wife Kristin, Joy Reich, and Tracy Reich & wife Kerrie, along with nephews and nieces. He was also survived by the absolute lights of his life, his grandchildren: Andrew, Alaina, Lexi, Annabelle, Brett David Jr, Eleanor, Matt, Nick, and Colton.
Jim was so many things in life. He was a husband, a father, brother, uncle, friend to so many, and most importantly, he was a Papa to everyone that was blessed to have him in their lives. He had a love for life, people, and most importantly, for the Lord. His smile and optimism never failed.
He lived a life of faithful service, whether that be in spreading the Gospel, helping those in need, or spoiling his children, grandchildren, and so many others.
No one was ever short of snacks when Papa was around. He abundantly carried fruit snacks for all the children and mints for the adults, even leaving snacks for the city of Broken Arrow refuse workers during garbage collection days.
If you were blessed to know Jim, you knew a larger-than-life man. If you knew him, you knew Jesus, because dad strived for you to experience who he knew Jesus to be.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
