Jo Anna Moore's Obituary
Today we celebrate the life of Jo Anna Moore who was called home to be with the Lord on May 9th, 2025 from Tulsa OK. Jo Anna was surrounded by family with a room full of love and many wonderful memories. Jo Anna was born July 22 ‘1946 in Ponca City,OK to Mildred and Joseph Bloxsom. Jo Anna graduated from Daniel Webster High School and went on to attend Tulsa Junior College where she obtained her teaching degree. Jo Anna taught at Tulsa Public Schools for many years working with the developmentally disabled. Jo Anna received 3 Governors Commendations for her outstanding job working with the developmentally disabled children. Jo Anna married Ronald Moore July 7th 1966 they built a life together in Tulsa ok and had two children Rhonda Lam and Michael Moore. In Jo Anna's free time you could find her bird watching, embroidering, spending time with family or cuddling her fur baby miracle. “Some people watch tv for entertainment, but Grandma watched people. She claimed “it's just keeping an eye out” but we all know what she was really up to. She loved reporting on everything she saw and she always kept everyone entertained with her stories of the neighborhood.
Jo Anna is preceded by her mother Mildred Bloxsom and father Joseph Bloxsom,
husband Ronald Moore and nephew Donald E Bloxsom, nephew Randy Bloxsom and brother Jo Don Bloxsom.
Jo Anna is survived by her children Rhonda Lam and husband John Lam of Shawnee OK, Michael Moore of Sapulpa, OK; grand-children Ronald Moore and wife Christine of Inola OK, Mikayla Moore and fiancé Duncan Botchlet of Tulsa OK, DJ young of Tulsa OK,
Cassandra Williams and husband Tim of Shawnee, OK, Joseph Parmley and wife Amanda of Tulsa OK Falicia Knight and fiancé Joseph Nolen of Earlsboro OK, Montanna Lam-Sanders and husband Braydon Sanders of Shawnee, OK; great-grandkids Matthew Negahnquet ,Colleen Williams, Jaylynn Barker, Lelan Parmley, Teresa Parmley, Rhonda Jo Raen Parmley, Osiris Parmley, Carmen Walker, Elijah Corley, Aubrey Nolen, Jaxson Nolen, Noah Knight, Ruby Knight and Aria Knight.
