My sympathy to Jo Lea's family. I work at Trinity Episcopal Church in Religious Education, and have since 1993. Jo Lea and Vernon invited my wife Joyce and me to their home off S. Riverside one evening for a delicious meal and wonderful visit. Both of them were so loving and gracious. I saw Jo Lea within the last six months at Hibdon Tire and had a good visit with her. She was preparing to go to a family holiday gathering. I will always remember her for serving at the altar at the 7:30 am Sunday Eucharist. Jo Lea ws all that the obituary conveyed. Now heaven is richer to have another saint of God living in the light, happiness and peace of God's eternal presence. St. Jo Lea, pray for us!

I remember Joe Lea as a dear friend. Her parents and my parents were great friends and we shared a love for the Spavinaw Creek area in N. W. I am so glad to have had a big sister for a few years and so happy I could spend a few days with Jo Lea last May.The time I spent with her last May was such a joy. I am so glad I came to Tulsa and could spend the time with her. She was truly a lady and I will miss her very much. With all the love I can enclose I'm sending all of you my best.
