Joan Elmire' Laipple's Obituary
Joan Elmire’ Laipple, a resident of Sand Springs, passed away May 14, 2017 at the age of 83. She was born December 15, 1933 to Armand Langevine and Leah (Champagne) Langevine in Ludlow, Massachusetts. She loved to sew, cook, gardening, sing, art and horseback riding but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Leah Champagne and Armand Langevine; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Survivors include son, Gregory Scott Laipple and wife, Carol; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Marie Laipple Jones and husband, Rickie Jones, Sr.; grandchildren, Alishia Dawn Marie Legrand and grandson-in-law, Christopher Widner; Christopher Michael Thomas Terhune; great grandchildren, Leah Ana-Marie Nolan, Braden Lewis-Thomas Widner, Crislyn Liza- Annette Widner; other grandchildren are Rickie Lee Jones, Joshua Lynn Wampler, Elizabeth Sue Ann Sears, Tammy M. Sears and Dustin Sears.Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Vernadean Rocha officiating.
