Joan P. Warriner's Obituary
Joan P. Warriner, 84 a resident of Tulsa passed away February 6, 2018. Joan was born December 15, 1933 in Tulsa, to Raymond and Alma (Dworak) Gunn. Joan met the love of her life, Jack while they were attending OSU. They eventually married and raised their children Carol Lee and Todd. Jack was a Dentist and Joan worked with him doing bookkeeping at the office. When they weren’t working they enjoyed traveling; they especially enjoyed going to New Mexico; this is where Joan began her Kachina Doll collection. Joan was a truly classy lady, but she was also know for being very direct, sometimes even a little sassy! Later in life her family started calling her “mama Joanie.” She cherished every moment she got to spend with her family, especially her granddaughters. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.She is preceded in passing by her husband Jack C. Warriner and her parents Raymond and Alma (Dworak) Gunn. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Lee Warriner; son, Raymond Todd Warriner and his wife, Lleny; grandchildren, Evelyn and Alma Warriner; sister, Judy England and nephew Brett McBride, his wife, Brenda and their daughter Braelyn.Graveside Inurnment will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday February 22, 2018 at Floral Haven Heritage Mausoleum
