JoAnn Catherine Friessen's Obituary
JoAnn Catherine Friessen, a resident of Tulsa, passed away May 19, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born January 15, 1938 to Leo Friessen and Sophie (Sauers) Friessen in Larchwood, Iowa.
JoAnn had a successful business in the Tulsa area for many years and loved her customers. JoAnn was an avid painter, enjoyed traveling, attended St. Pius X Church, and loved spending time with friends and family. JoAnn loved to bowl and was a part of the 600 club. JoAnn enjoyed watching many sports, and was a big OU fan. JoAnn was the most generous person you could ever meet; she loved to help people, and would see the good in everyone she met.
Joann is survived by her sister Marlene Crawley, her brother Cletus Friessen, her longtime family friend Joyce Fortuny, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
JoAnn will forever be missed and we are so grateful she blessed our lives.
