JoAnn Huffman's Obituary
On April 9, 2015 JoAnn Huffman quietly passed away. She was an amazing woman who lived a big and beautiful life! We were all so blessed to have had her in our lives for almost 90 years! She was born in November of 1925. She married an incredible man, Bill Huffman, in June of 1943. After his service in the war, they built a gorgeous family in Tulsa, OK. She brought 2 fantastic children into the world, Cheryl and Billy,Jr. JoAnn made life as a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother appear to be so easy. She served the Lord with great pleasure at White City Baptist Church for as long as her body would allow. She was strong, opinionated and anything but simple. She personally enjoyed all things golden and shiny, Egyptian antiquity, playing cards, Estee Lauder, not cooking, and most of all saying “Billy”! JoAnn spent a life loving all of us, giving so generously to everyone and making sure we each had every last thing we ever wanted! She leaves behind her the legacy of a big and beautiful family full of love and incredible memories. We are all so blessed to have been a part of her life and to know (because she told us) we will see her again in Heaven! She has been met in heaven by her parent, husband and all 5 of her siblings. Services are to be held privately with the family.
