I heard the news today, six months after Joann's home-going with the Lord. She was wonderful! Joann truly loved life, loved people and loved the Lord. I worked with Joann over 10 years ago and it was some of the best days of my life. She taught me that when you do something, do it right. I'll see you in Heaven, my sister in the Lord!!!!!

Joann led by example, a sweet lady with a big heart and a very hard worker. Her time came too soon. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the family.

JoAnn was special to so many of us. She was a wonderful friend, confidant, business-woman and the best second mom anyone could ever have. She taught me so much and believed and pushed me in every aspect of my life. I am so happy that my children knew her. They loved to see "Nan JoAnn!" I already miss the knot in my stomach every time she would yell my name through the EMSI office. I would think back on everything I did that day to try to figure out what I did wrong, but when I went to her she just needed me to program her cell phone or help her on the computer! The Lord called his Angel home to be with her own Angel. Her humor, smile and laughter will be missed. JoAnn, we love you!
