Joe Garnett Carinder Sr.'s Obituary
Joe Garnett Carinder Sr. was born on February 8, 1925 in Caney, Kansas to Kenneth and Alice Carinder. He attended Caney Schools until they moved to Henryetta where he graduated in 1943. After graduation, he began his career as an Army Air Corps. as a sergeant belly gunner till the war ended. Joe married Meredith in 1947, and then went to work with Blue Cross in 1949. Joe was a member of 1st Methodist Church and was involved with Meadow Brook Country Club. His most important events were the birth of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His favorite hobbies were spending afternoons playing golf and watching football on TV. Joe Carinder Sr. passed away last Sunday. He is survived by his wife, Meredith, and his two children, Joe Carinder Jr. and Robin Loveless, four grandchildren, Aubry Bennett, Jodi Loveless, and Joanna Carinder, and 2 great grandchildren, Nicholas Bennett and Tyler Bennett. Joe is also survived by his sister Reta Good, his sister-in-law Peggy Carinder, his brother-in-law Bob Evans, and his close friends, Wayne Harrington, Don McDowell, Bob Campbell, and all of his golf buddies.
