Joe was an amazing man. He was always there to help but did not want to be thanked or acknowledged for it. I always felt love from him when I was in his presence. When I last saw him he hugged me as if he had seen me the day before (even though it had been some months. He was always very supportive. When we went to church Joe and Maggie were the first people my daughter would go in search of so that she could get her hug. We will miss you Joe and we will love you always.
I loved to watch Joe delve into the Scriptures. His hunger for the knowledge of Christ was contagious. He would bring me verses to read and I really appreciated his support at Southeast. He was a blessed man and he shared his blessings with others. I pray for comfort and peace for Sister Maggie and their children. I love you!
