Joe Edward Puckett, 72, passed from this life on April 5, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Joe was born on July 9, 1941 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jack and Gloria Puckett. He was employed by Tulsa County Administrative Services as a office machine technician. As a past elder and Sunday School teacher, the joy of his life was teaching and studying the word of God. He was a member of the Woodland Christian Church. He met and married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Wise on June 1, 1962 and they shared 51 memorable years together. Joe is preceded by his father Jack Puckett, his brother Rex Puckett, and his niece, Trina Puckett. Joe is survived by his beloved, wife, Patricia; mother, Gloria (Sabolich) Puckett; brothers, S. Blake Puckett and wife, Vicki and Rod Puckett and wife, Linda; niece, Carrie Terada and husband, Aaron; nephews, Blake A. Puckett, Jason Puckett, Sam Puckett and Andy Puckett and wife, Shana. Joe was blessed to have in addition to his own family and extended family who loved him and he returned that love. He is also survived by the loving and devoted sister and brother-in-law, Naveda & Harvey Ely; brother-in-law, Wes Wise and his partner, Steave Harlon; nieces Dee Lambert, Linda Pyeatt and husband, Joey, and Gayla Thompson and husband ,Edward; nephews, Chad Wise and wife, Tracy, Cory Smith wife, Shiloh, Shane Smith and wife, Brandi, and Scott Wise; and sister-in-law Janice Wise. He was preceded in death by mother and father-in-law, Lee and Willie Wise; brother-in-law, Charles Wise and wife, Sharon; brother-in-law, Gary Wise. Memorial Services will be held 12:30 PM Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
