Oh, what a shock here on earth, but oh, what a welcoming in Heaven! We did not know Mr. Joe as long as we would have loved to but oh, what a Blessing we received for the time that we did. His body, at times, I thought would not hold all the Love and great big Smiles that he shared with everyone and with his sweet Hugs that he gave…..well, you could truly feel that he meant them! Mr. Joe will surely be missed at our Praise Gathering this year but just to look out, we will see that great big smile and know that he is right there with us in spirit! Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family and he will truly be missed by all.
Donna, Twins and Jodie, Saw in the paper today that Pete had passed away…..brought back many memories from the Dawson Assembly days up through the last few years. When i was chasing his oldest daughter, Donna, I was not Pete's favorite person but down through the years we became friends. ?? Never knew when Pete would show up but ocassionally he would come by my office and visit. His last visit was after Vern had passed away….he was carrying many pictures for me to see plus the deed to his house that i helped him purchase many years ago. The papers had my signature on them that he wanted me to see. He was so sweet and I enjoyed every minute of his visit.I'm so sorry for your loss….Pete had a good "long run" and left his girls many, many memories.Jim [email protected] 918.497.8933
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Thornburg in a grief group after his wife died. He was the finest man. His love for God and family was a great example to us all. He was such a sweet man…..and had loved his wife so much. He talked of his family and roses….all part of his walk with God, to whom he gave all glory. D Kerr, group facilitator….
