Joel " Rat Fink" Davis' Obituary
Joel Edwin Davis, of Tulsa, Ok, died December 5, 2020 in Tulsa. Born March 13, 1934 in Tulsa to Clifford and Annabelle Davis.
Joel graduated from Central High School in 1952 and then went to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah where he met his future wife, Lue Brown.
They were married in 1953 for 57 years until her death in 2010.
In 1953, Joel and Lue moved to Oklmulgee where Joel received his degree in Drafting from Okmulgee Tech.

Joel and Lue were avid RV campers and belonged to several camping clubs in Ponca City. They were members of Northeast Baptist Church.
After his wife’s passing, Joel moved to back to Tulsa where he lived at Prairie Rose Retirement Community
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford D. Davis, Sr. and Annabelle Montgomery Davis. Three brothers, Dale Davis, Clifford D. Davis Jr., Kermit Davis, and two sisters, Frances Davis King, and Barbara Davis, his wife, Lue Brown Davis, and one daughter Tracey Davis Hill.
He is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Ray and husband Rickey of Tulsa, and Stephanie Orban and husband Jack of Broken Arrow, and was Pops to his beloved seven grandchildren, Amber Parsons, Clint Stafford, Andrea Shannon, Alison Hill, Jaclyn Wann, Kyle Hill, and Scott Orban. He also left behind 3 great grandchildren, Ethan Wann, Colin Shannon and Olivia Wann and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2:00 at Floral Haven. Masks are required and social distancing will be followed.
