Dear Sheryl & family, My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I'm thankful that you & Joel came to the Paola High School reunions. What a special one for our 50th at Glenn Karr's. Joel indeed had a life that blessed many people. I wish I would have known him better as I read all that his life included. I went to Bible Study Fellowship for several years and found it to be a real source of learning and fellowship. I don't know if that is what Joel attended as there are many studies available. I can't imagine how difficult it is to lose your spouse. That last good-bye is made knowing that you'll meet again in heaven. In Christ's name, Marilyn

Really got to know Joel when we worked on the TWA project. What a fine person who always had time to answer any question. There are lots of friends at American Airlines who really will miss Joel.

Joel was kind of a late arrival to Paola, but quickly became assimilated into the high school and community. He was very well liked in PHS and I always enjoyed seeing him at the high school reunions. Blessings and warm thoughts to Sheryl and family……..Don Homrighausen

Joel was one of the first ones I met when I started working in MOC at American Airlines. He was a wonderful man and I thought the world of him. I am sorry for the families loss and I will keep you all in my prayers.
