Joella Catherine Rampey's Obituary
Joella Catherine Rampey went to heaven on Saturday night, July 2, 2016. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Coweta (Choska Bottoms), Oklahoma on April 20, 1929.Those whose lives were touched by her were blessed in too many ways to count. Her gentle smile, undying love for Jesus and loving ways will long be remembered.Joella is survived by her husband, Clifford Harmon Rampey, her daughter, Connie Garrett and husband, Sheyrl of Skiatook, son, Mike Rampey and wife, Narissa of Broken Arrow, and son, David and wife, Kim of Broken Arrow, seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Also survived by five sisters Lomeda Hall of Coweta, Nita Sturgeon and husband Kirby of Broken Arrow, Loretta Meadows and husband Alden of Coweta, Helen Hawkins of Texas and Beverly Kuehn and husband Edwin of Broken Arrow, Okla. Proceeded in death by a sister Patsy Rampey and brothers J. T. Wood and Gene Wood.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louella Wood, brothers Gene Wood and J.T. Wood, and sister Patsy Wood Rampey who was married to Clifford’s brother, Willard Thomas Rampey, also deceased.Arrangements will be handled by Floral Haven. Viewing will be on Wednesday from 12:00 to 8:00 with the family there from 5:00 to 8:00. Funeral services will be at Park Plaza church of Christ, 51st and Sheridan, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, at Vernon Cemetery, Coweta.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hope Harbor Children’s Home – Claremore
