John Arlin Bennett's Obituary
John Arlin Bennett, 63 of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed at his home in Sapulpa with his family by his side. John was born January 02, 1962 to George (Bill) William Bennett and Margaret Jean (Patterson) Bennett in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
John graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1980. After graduation John worked for Mahan Leasing as a mechanic and later also worked for the City of Jenks as a mechanic until retiring to help his mother with his father’s care. John started his own business as a mechanic at his home and worked until his death. Most of John’s customers soon became lifelong friends which he made many of over the years. John enjoyed riding his Honda Goldwing with a group of his friends on numerous trips around the state. The group would also go to Little Sahara where he enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler. John often talked about his trips he took to Florida while on vacation to ride his motorcycle while sightseeing. His pride and joy was his 1997 Ford F250 truck, which he kept in mint condition.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, father, George (Bill) Bennett, mother, Margaret Jean (Patterson) Bennett.
He is survived by his brother, James Bennett and wife, Malinda, niece, Heather Helton and fiancé Levon Swearingen, ex-wife, Kim Lynch, and her brothers Scott Smith and Mike Smith, goddaughter, Brooke Wiley, and godson, Justin Lynch.
