John Paul Berentz's Obituary
John Paul Berentz, 71 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma journeyed to be with Christ on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in a Plano, Texas hospital. He was born March 29, 1947 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to the late Paul Everett Berentz and Georgia Edna Clasby Berentz. John was a dialysis technician and a Vietnam War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970.John grew up in Delaware, Oklahoma and graduated from Delaware High School in 1965. John would later work for Reda Pump in Bartlesville, Oklahoma as a machinist in the machine shop.John is survived by one daughter, Christina Henry and husband Jered of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three sons, John David Berentz and wife Amber of Dewey, Oklahoma, Jason Bartholomew and wife Kristie of Boise, Idaho and Anthony Bartholomew of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and three grandchildren, Logan, Lance and Lillian all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Berentz; his parents, Paul and Edna Berentz and one grandson, Landon Henry.John’s wish was to be remembered as he lived and one of his final requests was that no formal services be held.
