Obituary for John “Dan” Cisco
John (Dan) Cisco, 78, of Collinsville, OK passed from this life on Friday, September 23, 2022, surrounded by his family. Dan was born on August 4, 1944, in Biloxi, MS to Carl Leon Cisco and Jesse Mae (Clifton) Cisco. Dan married the love of his life, Sandra (Miller) Cisco, on July 16, 1972, in Tucson, AZ.
If anyone knew Dan, they would know how great of a man he truly was. Above all, he loved and cherished his family and friends. Dan was a very positive, generous and upbeat person, liked by everyone who knew him. He made a friend everywhere he went. He loved jokes, pets of all kinds, bluegrass, ice cream and reading his Bible.
Dan’s hobbies included riding around on his CanAm and Harley motorcycle with his wife Sandy and hitting the open road for many trips over the years with his riding club and friends or alone with Sandy. Their honeymoon started on a motorcycle fifty years ago to the Grand Canyon. He also enjoyed going out to eat at different restaurants with family or friends.
Dan is survived by his lovely wife of 50 years, Sandra Cisco, son John Cisco, daughter Jessica Davidovich and husband Matthew, son Michael Cisco and wife Kimberly, brother Ray Cisco and wife Karen, brother David Westcott, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren plus many brother and sister in laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and loved ones. Dan will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents and brother Louis Cisco.
The memorial service for John “Dan” Cisco will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 3:00pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Leonard officiating. A reception and meal will follow at the Floral Haven Family Center from 4:30 to 6:30pm for all family and friends.
