John was so dear to my heart... I spent the last 8 years with him taking care of him enjoying great memories with him and him becoming like family... I loved him dearly and meant the world to me and my boys... I love you Johnny boy and I hope you enjoy dancing in the sky....🩷🩷
John was an amazing friend, and one that can’t be replaced. We shared many dreams and aspirations in our youth and as we both grew old with families of our own we always reconnected and it was as if not a day had lapsed since talking with each other. There was always plenty of laughter in our daily conversations and Johns vocabulary was second to none. Rest easy my brother until we meet again. You will be missed.
It was an honor to spend the past 16 years by John’s side walking hand in hand, as he battled multiple strokes and various complications that followed. John fought a hard and courageous battle over the last ten years. He was such a fighter! I will miss him dearly. I am grateful for the heart full of memories, laughter, and tears. What a story….! We will always have our song, “My Love”-Beatles.

As a teenager I had a lot of anger issues... Well Mr. John bought me a punching bag and said if you ever feel anger just have a go at it!! Well I did and it helped out tremendously!!! Also Mr. John taught me how to play the guitar. There is one more memory that I will never forget.... It was 1999 fixing to turn to the year 2000 and I had a sleep over with Leslie and he made it seem like the world was just going to end and also put on a fake robbery lol I couldn't tell you how scared me and Leslie were.
My fondest memories of John go back to my early teens thru his service to our country. John would call me up late during the weekends and we would talk til 3, 4am every time and I so looked forward to his calls. He is missed dearly.
