John W. Hardison's Obituary
John W. Hardison, 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013. He was born the 9th of 10 children on November 18, 1934, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Arthur E. and Anna Marie Hardison. He was raised in Tulsa and following his graduation from Webster High School, he pursued a career as a heating and air conditioner service technician. He retired in 1997, after 43 years of service. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1956 ' 1958, attaining the rank of Private First Class. On February 15, 1958, he married Normalee Tohlen in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family and attending and participating in church activities. His hobbies were making stained glass and wood working. He is survived by his son, Kevin Hardison, daughter, Brenda Kay Troyer, brothers, Jimmie Hardison and Leonard Hardison and sister, Norma Jean Bailey, all of Tulsa. Services will be held Friday 10:00 a.m. June 14, 2013 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers give to Memorial Dr. United Methodist Church, Memorial Fund.
