John Edward Hatfield's Obituary
John Edward Hatfield, 49, passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2021 at his residence in Santa Maria, CA. He had been hospitalized in February with heart related problems.
John was born July 19, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Raymond and Sue Hatfield. Raised in Owasso, Oklahoma, he graduated from Owasso High School. He then graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Graphic Design. He began as an Art Director at Ackerman McQueen. Eventually he had his own company Hatfield Designs. In 2016 with his sister, they started Hat & Field Supply Co. He moved to California, 1 1/2 years ago to pursue a new chapter in his life. He was Senior Art Director for the Chumash Casino.
John was one of a kind. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved his family and many, many friends. He had a multitude of interests and hobbies the he loved to share.
He is survived by his sons, whom he loved and cherished, Wyatt Hatfield and fiance, Seika McKee and Marshall Hatfield and fiance, Alyssa Barnett; parents, Raymond and Sue Hatfield; sister, Laura Sanders and husband, Tom; niece, Molly Sirucek and husband Matt; nephews, Benjamin Sanders, Jordy Jordan and Dylan Jordan; and a lifelong and best friend, Steve Carbone and family.
