John Jacobs' Obituary
John Calvin Jacobs, 93, was born on June 20, 1925 and passed away on December 16, 2018. He was a man of many talents and interests. John was a Sergeant in the United States Army and served as a sharpshooter during World War II. For his service, he was presented with the Victory Ribbon and a good conduct medal.John was very active and enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, skating, and watching OU football.John is preceded in death by his parents; wife Sybil Jacobs; and brother Edward Allen Pittman.He is survived by his daughters Donna Moore and Linda Furgerson; granddaughters Tammy Geicke, Tonia Canova, and Heather Furgerson; grandson Brian Douglas Furgerson; and great granddaughters Sidney and Abby Eskew.Visitation will be held from 4 pm – 7 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 19.Services will take place at 3 pm on Thursday, December 20 at Floral Haven Chapel.
