John Monroe Kerr's Obituary
John M. Kerr, age 73, passed from this life to his heavenly home on July 11, 2013. He was born in Homeworth, Ohio on April 18, 1940. He and his wife Mae were married in 1960 in Ohio and moved to Tulsa in 1968 where they began an electronics company, Combotronics that operated for 44 years. He attended Life Park Christian Fellowship Church. During his lifetime, he enjoyed flying his own aircraft, fishing, and camping with the members of the Deans RV Camping Club and Milenium Sam's Club. He had a tremendous sense of humor and a wealth of friends who knew him as a kind and generous man. John Kerr was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Preacious Kerr, brother, Eldon Eugene Kerr and sister Thea Jane Becket, and granddaughter, Ashley Kerr. John is lovingly remembered by his wife Mae of Tulsa; daughter Sheona Kania and husband, Charles of Tulsa; son, Steven Kerr and wife, Kathy of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Ruth Ann Foster and brother, Jeff Kerr of Ohio; grandchildren, Meagan Kania, Ian Kerr, Abby Reinoso, and Jesse Stewart; and great grandchildren, Rocco and Kara Reinoso. Services will be held at Life Park Christian Fellowship Church , 5900 S. Union Ave. Tulsa, OK on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
