John Addison Miller's Obituary
John Addison (Jack) Miller was born on April 12, 1927 by his parents, Cyril A & Mildred E Miller, in Evanston, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, and oldest daughter Christine Cellino. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia and son-in-law Timothy Reed, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Jack was a member of Asbury Church in Tulsa.
Jack was raised in Washington, DC. After high school, he served in World War II with the US Navy. In 1947, he came to Oklahoma and obtained an engineering degree (BS in ME) from the University of OK. He was a member Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
He met his wife, Shirley, in OK City. They married and moved to Tulsa in 1951. Jack was employed in the aerospace industry and had a successful carrier with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing and the Dept. of Defense as an Aerospace Engineer. He was a Registered Professional Engineer with the state of Oklahoma.
After retiring and experiencing some life changing events, Jack and daughter Cynthia, her husband Tim and daughter Becca (along with the blessings of her family) joined living arrangements and moved to Collinsville, OK, where he lived, contented, for the remainder of his lif
