John Robert LeBlanc, 66, retired Royal Canadian Air Force Colonel passed away November 20, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. He was born June 30, 1948 in Abrams River, Nova Scotia, Canada to Desire J. and Frances J. (Stevenson) LeBlanc.He is survived by his wife, Deborah Susann; daughters Cathy, Amanda (Mark Kellner), and Courtney (Rory Yerama); son, Ian; and granddaughter, Layla Yerama. John Robert is predeceased by his parents and granddaughter, Paisley Yerama.John Robert’s zest for life, great sense of humor, bravery, and intelligence, and his down-to-earth generosity will be honored during a Celebration of Life Service, 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22nd, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow.In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Wounded Warrior Project, (www.woundedwarriorproject.org/Donate, 855-448-3997), Broken Arrow Animal Shelter (www.baanimalshelter.com, 918-259-8311), or a charity of your choice.
