John Lewis Steed, Jr. was born Sep. 1, 1937 to John Louie (Lewis) Steed, SR and Constance Carol Hall Steed in Galveston, TX., and died Nov 17, 2009 at his home in Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George William Steed Sr. John was in the National Guard Reserve in the 1950’s and 1960’s in Tulsa, OK. He graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1955. He was a printer, working at the Tulsa World and Tribune for 20 plus years. Retired from United Members Federal Credit Union. John married Janice Carolyn Harmon on Feb 21, 1958 in Tulsa, OK. They lived in Tulsa, OK all their married lives..
