John Weldon Wheeler Jr.'s Obituary
John Weldon Wheeler, Jr. was born June 4, 1968 in Waco, Texas, where his parents, John and Mary Helen Wheeler, were students at Baylor University.
John Jr. had a surgical procedure at 2 months of age that would impact the entirety of his 52 years.
When John was 10, his brother, Chris was born. John took great delight in his little brother. He always loved being with Chris and doing things together. He considered it perhaps the greatest honor of his life to serve as a groomsman for Chris in his wedding.
John was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan and his favorite pastime was playing UNO.
John asked Jesus into his life when he was a very young boy and he knew Jesus was his Savior. He loved Battlecreek Church and attended whenever he could. Recently he moved to Tulsa and one of the things he had looked forward to was joining Battlecreek.
Friday, October 16th, after a week of unconsciousness following a cardiac arrest, John went home to Heaven.
John is survived by his parents, John and Mary Wheeler, of Tulsa, OK; his brother, Chris Wheeler and his wife, Lindsay along with their daughter, Eliana, of Fayetteville, AR; aunt, Elaine Outlaw and her husband, Dane, of Summerville, SC; aunt, Christy Vanoss and her husband, Bill, of San Angelo, TX; uncle, Don Wheeler and his wife, Margarita, of Dripping Springs, TX; uncle, Mike Wheeler and his wife, Linda, of Sachse, TX; uncle, Mark Matson and his wife, Becky, of Austin, TX along with numerous cousins, and countless friends.

Visitation will be 4-6 pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home
