John Ernest Williams 1935-2013 John Ernest Williams, 77, Tulsa, Oklahoma died February 9, 2013 at his home. He was born on February 11, 1935 in Islip, NY to Elsa (Glover) and William Clarence Williams. He then moved to St. Joseph, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents Elsa and William, his brother Harvey, brother-in-law Jack Wilcox and his former wife Shirley (Milleson) Williams and wife Velma (Scroggins) Williams. Survivors: Companion, Florence Cox, of the home, son, Darren Williams (Becky) Savannah, Mo, daughter, Debbie Meier (Terry) St. Joseph, Mo brother, William (Billy) Williams (Judy), Fresno, Ca, sister, Wendy Wilcox , St. Joseph, Mo., 2 grandsons and 4 granddaughters, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. John retired TWA, at the overhaul base in Kansas City, Mo. He was a member of the Blue Lodge Scottish Rite and the Shriners; he was also a 33rd Degree Mason and enjoyed playing golf. He moved to Tulsa, Ok where he became a clown for the Shriners and he also drove a van taking children and their families to the Shriners Hospital for Children for treatment. Services are pending.
