Johnnie "JD" Derrial Henry McAdams' Obituary
Johnnie "JD" Derrial Henry McAdams, 77, passed away on January 24, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on October 3, 1947, in Van Buren, Arkansas, Johnnie was the cherished son of Vivian McAdams.
A proud Army Veteran, Johnnie served his country with honor and dedication. His skills as a mechanic were unmatched, and he was the go-to person for fixing anything and everything. But more than anything, Johnnie was a family man—his love for his family was evident in every part of his life. He was adored by all who knew him.
Johnnie is survived by his loving children, Mary Petersen, Shirley Clawson, Randy Gregg, and Jimmy Gregg; his treasured grandchildren, Jay Fudge, Lori Jones, Michael Fudge, and Lottie Hall; and a multitude of great and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Lawla, Isaac, Kay, Michelle, and Shelly; along with numerous great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ella Lorene McAdams; his parents, Landford and Vivian Blansett; his brother, Frankie McAdams; his sister, Shirley Bayat-Makou; and his nephew, Frankie McAdams, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
Johnnie's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be forever remembered. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
