Johnnie Nathaniel Waltrip's Obituary
Johnnie Nathaniel Waltrip, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away April 26, 2018 at the age of 30. He was born July 10, 1987 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He loved everything outdoors, hunting, camping and target shooting. He favorite teams were the NFL Bruins, NFL Ravens and any team that Aubree or Shay were playing for. Johnnie enjoyed movies, either going to the movies or watching DVD’s. He was proud of the 4.0 grade point average that he carried to obtain his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. Honors Society membership was his latest achievement.Preceded in death by his great grandparents, Monroe Bryan and Maxine Scott Bryan, Walker (Wayne) Waltrip and Bessie Huffman Waltrip; Grandmothers, Cathy Bryan Ellis and Emma (Joanne) Rood Denton; step-grandfather, Ronnie H. Denton; mother, Sheila Kay Ellis Waltrip and uncles, Johnny L. Waltrip and Travis Ellis.Survivors include, grandfathers, Edgar E. Waltrip, Sr. and Leonard (Dale) Ellis; step-grandmothers, Betty Todd Waltrip and Joanne Ellis; father, Edgar (Eddie) Waltrip; step-mother, Brenda Bellamy Waltrip; uncles, Jackie, Tracy and Terry Waltrip; aunts, Lisa Waltrip Rogers and Sandy Rogers Grant; sister, Tabitha Waltrip; brother-in-law, Larado Smith; step-brother, Kyle Bellamy; step-sister, Tiffany Kuzilik Jantz; nephew, Shaye Smith and nieces, Aubree and Ayriona Smith.Viewing will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and family will greet friends that evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Garden of Prophets with Pastor James Lacey officiating.
