Johnny Bruce Jarrett's Obituary
Johnny Bruce Jarrett, 59, of Claremore, walked into Heaven on July 22, 2022 at Hillcrest Medical Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife and son at his side.
Johnny was born November 14, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John Henry and Anita Ruth Jarrett. He married the love of his life, Pamela on August 31, 1985.
Johnny graduated from Langston University through UC@T. He worked for 25 years for the City of Tulsa in Accounting, Purchasing, and Finance. After leaving the City of Tulsa, he worked as a purchasing agent for Rogers State University until retirement.
Johnny was an entrepreneur. He always had a new business going. He loved making money and helping other people achieve their dreams. Besides making and managing money, Johnny loved music, art, and his family. He loved spending time with his son Christopher playing guitar, chess, and exploring new places and new roads. Many hours were spent around the table discussing a variety of ideas, opinions, and feelings. He was very generous with his friends and family. He was known for his sense of humor. He would send friends and family funny jokes, inspirational or heartfelt messages. Johnny loved to laugh and make others laugh too. He was a master at photoshop, and making funny images! No one was safe from Johnny’s mad photoshopping skills. Johnny’s smile, sense of humor, and way with words can’t ever be forgotten. Johnny was one of a kind.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents, John Henry and Anita Ruth, and his mother-in-law, Mary Virginia Mattke.
Johnny was survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Pamela; his son, Christopher, and daughter-in-law, Jordan, and granddaughter, Penelope of Olathe, Kansas; his sister Julie Tucker of Owasso; his brother Scott Jarrett of Claremore; his father-in-law, Paul W. Mattke; his brothers-in-law Paul T. Mattke, Matthew Tucker, Daniel May, and Corey Fehr; His sisters-in-law Sharon Mattke, Melissa May, and Suzanne Mattke; his nieces Megan Elliott, Katie Tucker, Kacie Mattke, Anna Tucker, and Mary Emma Mattke; his nephews Jacob Mattke and Jacob Elliott.
Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 30, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
