Johnny West Dorough, a beloved resident of Austin, Texas, passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 42. He was born on December 8, 1980, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Pamela Wilson.
Johnny was a charismatic soul who had an enchanting way of connecting with people. He had an infectious smile that would light up any room, and his warm and friendly nature drew others to him. Johnny cherished his time spent with friends and family, as he found great joy in socializing and creating beautiful memories with those he loved.
Despite facing personal challenges, Johnny's love for others remained unwavering. He was a kind-hearted individual who had a special place in his heart for everyone he encountered. He approached life with empathy and compassion, making sure to lend a helping hand to those in need. Johnny's capacity for love and understanding was a testament to his beautiful soul.
In his spare time, Johnny enjoyed exploring the rich cultural offerings of Austin, immersing himself in the city's vibrant arts scene, and appreciating its diverse culinary delights. He was an adventurer at heart, always seeking new experiences and embracing the beauty of life.
Johnny leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. He will be deeply missed by his mother Pam; his siblings, Justin West (Johnny’s twin), Andrea Sloan and Amy Sloan; along with numerous other family members and friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on through the memories he created and the love he shared.
