Johnnye Loraine Potter, age 92, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life, Friday, December 8, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Johnny was born March 27, 1931, to George Haskell and Lottie Lorene (Wilcox) Johnson, in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Johnnye worked for Williams Company for twenty-seven years. She was executive assistant to CEO Joe Williams, when she retired.
Johnnye will be dearly missed by her husband: Jack Potter; children: Debbie Lenardo, Susan Tyler and husband Merle, Phyllis Jones and husband Mark; and Tina Campbell and husband Rick; grandchildren: Nicki Mott and husband Jamie, Sean Lenardo, Matthew Lenardo, Amy Odvody and husband James, Chris Brown, Ashley Tyler, Courtney Everson and husband Jarrod, Lindsey Tribble and husband George, and Chapman Bailey and wife McKinzie; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and 1 on the way; brother: Frank Johnson; and a host of family and friends.
Johnnye is preceded in death by her parents: Haskell and Lottie Johnson; brother: Jerry Johnson: and grandson: John Tyler.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM, Friday, December 15, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Suites, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Floral Haven Rose Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
