Jo was active in Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 216, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 577 of Tulsa, Veterans Day Parade of Tulsa and Telephone Pioneers. Jo felt a person’s wealth is measured by what they offered others and wanted to say to her friends, “Friendships are stitched over time and I’m so glad ours turned out to be One Crazy Quilt, thank you for all of your patchwork.” In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to VFW post 577 of Tulsa.
