Jonathan David Gozzard, 29 of Coweta, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, May 28, 2021 in Coweta, Oklahoma. He was born October 30, 1991 in Warren, Michigan to his parents, George Alan Gozzard and Linda Irene Kupper Lopez.
Jonathan was homeschooled and had a creative mind, where he could act out movies to a tee. His childhood hobbies included playing video games and building legos. He was an avid sports fan and he loved the Dallas Cowboys. He also developed a passion to play the guitar. His adventurous spirit led him to many interesting places in life, including living in Missouri and North Carolina. While his life’s journey may have led him astray at times, he once again found his peace in God. He will always be remembered for his kind, loving, and oftentimes sarcastic personality. He was a proud uncle to his 2 nieces, Sarina and Sophia Wright and his 4 nephews, Kelton Gozzard, Tristan Novotny, and Ethan and Micah Lopez.
Jonathan is survived by his mother and step-father, Linda and Victor Lopez of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his father, George Gozzard of Coweta, Oklahoma; eight siblings, Rebekah Lopez and husband Jacob of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Caleb Gozzard and wife Krizia of Coweta, Oklahoma; Rachel Novotny and husband Erik, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Martha Wright and husband Coleman of McAlester, Oklahoma; Hannah Gozzard of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Philip Gozzard of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Abigail Gozzard and Grace Gozzard of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother, Dolores Kupper of Warren, Michigan; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Kupper and his paternal grandparents, Nelle and Harry Gozzard.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Floral Haven's Funeral Home Chapel.
