Jordan Kael McKaughan's Obituary
In loving memory of Jordan, a young man who loved with his whole heart, mind, body, and soul. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter and contagious smile.
He had a passion for the arts with dreams to direct motion pictures and write and illustrate fantasy novels. He entered and placed in several film competitions and was nearly completed with a trilogy of fantasy novels.
His other passion was classic cars including Mustangs and Camaros.
Jordan Kael McKaughan, 23, passed away on April 23, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jordan was born on July 22, 2000 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Amber and Brad McKaughan.
In 2018, he graduated from High School at Edison Preparatory School and in 2021 received an Associates Degree in Digital Arts from Tulsa Community College.
He was married in Las Vegas in 2018 to his high school sweetheart, Matzali Medina Hernandez.
He is survived by his Mother - Amber Mogridge, Father - Brad McKaughan StepFather - Randy Mogridge, Step Siblings -Brien, Nicole, Tosha, and Garrett, Grandparents - Billy & Adrienne Ashworth and Harold & Linda McKaughan and Sam & Rita Mogridge, Aunts - Lindsay Ashworth, Manda Gouge, LeAndra McKaughan and Jolene McKaughan, Uncles - Brandon Ashworth, Mike McKaughan, and Kevin McKaughan, Cousins - Madison Gouge, Kara and Jeremy Hasten, Alex McKaughan, Caitlin and Ty Coats, Lauren McKaughan, Kevin “Buster” McKaughan and Kai Knox.
Jordan also loved his 2nd Cousins, families by marriage, families of his step siblings, Great Aunts and Great Uncles, with many preceeding him in departure, there are just too many to list.
He was preceeded in departure by Grandmother - Sheryl Stephens, Great Grandparents - Leota Tunnell, Bill and Bonnie Ashworth, Howard and Lena McKaughan, and Clinton Lanham and Elva Waggoner.
Jordan's presence brought joy to everyone around him. He always left the room better
than he found it. He never missed showing his love with hugs and kisses. No one
wondered if he loved them because he never missed a chance to say it.
While the loss of Jordan leaves us with unbearable pain, hold comfort in knowing that
Jordan was a believer and that we will see him soon, for eternity.
